1. What is the purpose of the Oxfam Supporter Panel?

The purpose is of the Oxfam Supporter Panel is to collect supporter opinions on a number of topics that will then enable us to be more effective in our communications, fundraising and campaigning.

 
     
 
2. Who can join the Oxfam Supporter Panel?

Any current United Kingdom resident who is over 18 can join the Oxfam Supporter Panel. We would like opinions from a wide variety of people, so whatever your background or relationship with Oxfam we really want to hear from you.

 
     
 
3. What does the supporter panel involve?

As a member of the Oxfam Supporter Panel you will receive a link to a short (up to 15 minutes) survey approximately once a month. We also soon hope to be able to send you occasional feedback and updates. 

 
     
 
4. How do I register?

You can register for the Oxfam Supporter Panel by Clicking Here and entering your contact details. You will then be asked to complete a profile survey. The registration process should take approximately 5 minutes.

 
     
 
5. I want to change my email address.
To update your details please send an email to panel@oxfam.org.uk.
 
     
 
6. How do I unsubscribe?

If you no longer wish to be a member of the Oxfam Supporter Panel or participate in the studies, please email us at panel@oxfam.org.uk. We will promptly process you request, however, there may be a gap between the time when we receive your request and the time when we are able to remove your information from all scheduled communications and lists. Therefore, you may receive a few more emails after requesting to be removed from our lists before the request is processed.

 
     
 
7. How often will I receive surveys?

You will receive surveys about once a month and they will generally take 15 minutes or less to complete.

 
     
 
8. What will the information I provide be used for?

Oxfam uses the information to help us understand more about how supporters view our communications, fundraising ideas and campaign work, enabling us to make improvements and be more effective.

 
     
 
9. Will I get spam as a result of signing up for the Oxfam Supporter Panel?

No, Oxfam does not send out random, untargeted emails (spam).  We will only send you requests to participate in surveys and on occasion, other types of research. In the future, we also hope to send updates on the impact that the research you have taken part in has had.  We will not send you any other information or requests.

10. Will I receive credit or prizes for participating in the Oxfam Supporter Panel?

Whilst we would really appreciate your participation in the Oxfam Supporter Panel we can not offer regular incentives.  From time to time Oxfam may offer rewards or incentives in return for you completing surveys but these will be items donated to us by partner organisations or other departments of Oxfam. You can, ofcourse, choose to accept or decline the reward.
