Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre
The Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC) are planning to develop their services to include support groups.
These groups will be an opportunity for female survivors of sexual abuse and rape to come together in person to share support around experiences which may be hard to talk about with friends, family or others in one's daily life.
Before launching this new service we are keen to consult with potential participants to ensure their needs are met. All your feedback will be treated in confidence and will be gratefully received.
If you have any further queries or questions about this survey please feel free to contact Helen Chapman at Hchapman@osarcc.org.uk

OSARCC are currently exploring a range of venue options taking into account location, accessibility, privacy and comfort.
Please could you let us know your preferred location within the Oxfordshire area (e.g. Oxford city centre) and any other requirements for the venue that would be important for you (e.g. off-road parking).

We are exploring options for the best time to hold the support group in order to accomodate the needs of the participants.
Please could you let us know your preferred start and finish time.
7
We are exploring different facilitator options for the support group.
A facilitator is someone who takes some responsibility for helping the group to run well and meet the needs of those attending. Some groups have an outside facilitator who comes only to help the group, not to get support for her. Some groups do not want to have an outside facilitator, but members take turns at facilitating each meeting.
Please could you specify your preference from the list below.
Members take turns to facilitate
Outside facilitator (professionally trained)
Outside facilitator (survivor with some training)
Other (please specify)
